Pattern Puzzles
Apple, banana, apple… what comes next?
What your child learns
- Spotting repeating patterns: AB, AAB, ABB, ABC…
- Noticing details: shapes that differ only in color or form
- Reasoning to find a missing piece in the middle
How to play
- Look at the row and find the box with a question mark.
- Pick one of the three pictures below to fill it in.
- A right answer colors the box and a new puzzle starts.
For parents
- Say the row out loud ("apple, banana, apple, banana…") to hear the pattern.
- Puzzles get longer, use more pictures, and the gap can move to the middle.
- After two wrong tries, the right answer blinks as a hint.
