My Body

Where are the eyes? Where are the ears? Tap the right spot on your friend!

What your child learns

  • Naming body parts: head, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, arms, legs, tummy, hands and feet
  • Finding smaller parts: elbows, knees, shoulders and fingers
  • The five senses: we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, smell with our nose, taste with our tongue, touch with our hands
  • With the Vietnamese voice, kids learn the Vietnamese names for body parts instead

How to play

  1. Press "Play now", listen to the question, for example "Where are the eyes?", and tap the eyes on your friend. Eyes, ears, arms and legs count on either side.
  2. A wrong tap gets a gentle note saying which part that is ("This is the nose") and another try. Tapping the same spot again does not count twice.
  3. At higher levels, listen to "What do we hear with?" and pick the right picture (ears). On a computer, keys 1–4 work too.
  4. The two buttons at the bottom change the friend and the skin color. On a computer, use the arrow keys to pick a spot and Enter to tap.

For parents

  • After playing, try a quick pointing game: say "nose!" and your child touches their own nose; then swap and let them ask you.
  • Sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" together to practice the parts you just learned.
  • Name body parts during bath time or getting dressed: "Let's wash your hands, now your feet".
  • Ask about the senses in everyday life: "What can you smell? What can you hear?"
  • The friend in the game wears a T-shirt and shorts and only familiar parts are asked; "back" is not asked because the friend only faces forward.
